Works in Progress / Summer 2011
Throughout July and August I'm very happy to be working on a new commissions and building my portfolio prior to my move to Norway in the Autumn. The current commission is to create a partner piece to a work that sold this Spring, after which the clients asked me to work on a second, creating my first diptych. Exciting.
Other new works are materializing too, as you'll have seen (Cross Country, Sentinel, and Over the Spacious Earth to name a few, all in the 'Works' section). As I'm conscious of a good working flow at present I'm really pushing myself to engage with challenging ideas and aesthetics that will pull the best out of me. That's the only way the work. Go hard or go home, as the saying says.
